Mötley Crüe is withdrawing from an impending performance alongside singer Vince Neil 's health concerns.
A month after informing about the postponement of their Las Vegas show series The band stated that they would not be able to play at the Boardwalk Rock Festival in Ocean City, Maryland, scheduled for Saturday, May 17.
According to a previous concert poster , the music band was slated to co-tophead the festival’s first day alongside Def Leppard .
Alice in Chains is stepping up now, as shown in a refreshed festival poster shared Instagram On Wednesday, April 2, the performances will take place. The co-headliners will appear on Sunday, May 18. Nickelback and Shinedown are still anticipated to carry out.

"Due to health-related issues, @motleycrue won’t be able to perform with us in Ocean City this May. We’ll miss their presence and hope they recover soon," the Boardwalk festival announced in their post.
Additionally, the band issued a clear statement.
Mötley Crüe won’t be able to play at the Boardwalk Rock event in Ocean City, Md., on May 17 because Vince Neil needs time to recover following a necessary medical procedure recommended by his doctors. We prioritize Vince’s health above all else and completely back him in focusing on getting better. Let’s all send our best wishes for his speedy recovery,” the announcement stated.

The group issued an apology to both their supporters and those eagerly awaiting the performance, also expressing gratitude to their audience for showing comprehension.
They similarly expressed gratitude to Alice in Chains for filling in at the event, stating that they are "deeply thankful to them for taking over and delivering an incredible performance at Boardwalk Rock."
"We appreciate the ongoing support from all our Crüeheads. We're eagerly looking forward to having Vince completely recover so we can return to performing live soon," the statement read.

Although the group did not provide specifics regarding Neil's medical procedure, they initially announced that Neil experienced an unspecified "mandatory medical procedure" in March.
The group attributed their decision to push back their residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM from March 28 to April 19, 2025, to sometime in September 2025.
"For all the Crüeheads eagerly anticipating our spring performances, I am genuinely apologetic. Since my well-being takes precedence, ensuring I can deliver the amazing shows you deserve becomes crucial. I am eager to get back on stage once more," Neil stated as part of the release.
"Thank you for all the kind messages that continue to pour in. Your encouragement means more than words can express," the statement went on to say.
The band revealed their Las Vegas residency in October 2024.
