DJH, with offices in Altrincham, Bury, and Manchester, has teamed up with McBrides Chartered Accountants from Bexley in a merger that propels them into London and the southern regions.
The team will leverage McBride’s local reach and expertise in advising professional services, legal firms, real estate businesses, maritime companies, and British branches of global enterprises.
DJH, backed by Tenzing, will offer access to specialized teams for various services such as R&D tax incentives, capital allowances, business financing, human resources, and information technology.
Current McBrides Managing Partner Tanya Hamilton will keep overseeing the company alongside the partnership team.
Scott Heath, CEO of DJH, stated: "Our long-standing ambition has been to establish a significant base in the southern part of the country, and partnering with McBrides allows us to instantly secure this foothold in the area. They share our core principles of collaboration, exceptional customer service, and reliability."
The moment Chief Operating Officer James Beardmore and I connected with Tanya and her partnership team, a robust rapport was established. We recognised then that together we could lay down ideal groundwork for nurturing our current clientele while also expanding our presence within the region.
He went on: "Collectively, we are making progress towards becoming one of the leading 20 accounting firms in the UK."
DJH offers auditing, accountancy, taxation, and specialized business advisory services across the country. By blending local knowledge with extensive coverage, they ensure personalized attention remains central to their approach.
After completing a total of ten acquisitions over a span of three years, the company has expanded into a multifaceted group comprising 580 individuals. Its headquarters in Greater Manchester have been complemented by additional locations in Chester, Derby, Huddersfield, Leeds, Nantwich, Sheffield, Stoke-on-Trent, and Walsall.
The recent acquisition opens up additional avenues for professional development for members of both the DJH and McBrides teams throughout their careers. It also paves the way for expanding specialized services, offering significant growth prospects.
Tanya Hamilton, Managing Partner at McBrides Chartered Accountants, commented: "Merging with DJH marks a significant step forward in our path, offering us a chance to enhance our offerings. This development paves the way for fresh and stimulating prospects for expansion, alongside additional investments in technological advancements along with staff training, hiring, and overall employee welfare."
Joining forces with one of the leading 40 UK accounting firms that aligns with our mission and principles will assist us in building an exceptional workplace and delivering even better services to our customers.
Matt Nicholson, the Investment Lead at Tenzing, stated: "We are thrilled to bring everyone from McBrides into the DJH family. Aligning cultures is key to achieving our expansion goals, and we're pleased that Tanya and her team have placed their confidence in us moving forward."
This holds especially true upon entering a new market, marking a significant step for the DJH Group. We're eager to discover what accomplishments await us as we join forces.
